Photo exhibition “Los Mestizos: Survivors of history” by Inti Pachurin

The Embassy of Peru reopened its Art Gallery with the photo exhibition, “Los Mestizos: Survivors of history” by Peruvian artist Inti Pachurin. Featuring portraits of residents of different cities in Peru, including Cajamarca, Ayacucho, Cusco, Puno, Iquitos, Trujillo, among others, his exhibit emphasizes the importance of "Mestizo" culture.

Los Mestizos: Survivors of History is a visual anthropological record that illustrates the vast biodiversity of our land, creating awareness of the need to protect our ecosystem.

Inti Pachurin graduated from specialized courses at the International Center of Photography (ICP) in New York City. His work has been displayed in Galleries in New York, Miami, and Lima, as well as published in a variety of media in this country.

The exhibition will be open to the public until May 24th, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Art Gallery of the Peruvian Embassy, 1700 Massachusetts Avenue, NW, Washington, D.C. 20036.
