The Embassy of Peru in the USA at the

2021 Ibero -American Online Guitar Festival

 
 

The Embassy of Peru in the United States of America participates in the 2021 Ibero-American Online Guitar Festival.  This event is organized by the Ibero-American Cultural Attachés Association (AACIA) to celebrate its 45th Anniversary. 

Chano Díaz Límaco, representing Peru, will present a concert of guitar and "Charango" ("Andean Guitar") that will feature music from his new album "Ritual," which reunites traditional Andean melodies. 

Chano Díaz was born in Ayacucho, southern Peru. Musician and producer, he has directed and participated in the recordings of great Peruvian artists. He has scored the Spanish film "La Busca," the British movie "Lion Ark," and has been the musical director of the Peruvian-Spanish film "Sigo Siendo" by Javier Corcuera. Interpreter of the Quena ("Andean flute") and the Charango, he has represented Peru in different international festivals. For this, he has been awarded by the Ministry of Culture of Peru, among other national and international institutions.

This concert will be available online from November 12th through December 12th, 2021.
